Jeremiah 3:21–22 The sound of crying is heard on the hills. It is the crying and the pleading of the people of Israel. They have become crooked and have forgotten the LORD their God. “Come back, you rebellious people, and I will forgive you for being unfaithful.” Here we are! We have come to you because you are the LORD our God. SOME OF US NEED TO COME BACK TO GOD.
Deuteronomy 6:12 be careful that you don’t forget the LORD, who brought you out of slavery in Egypt. ARE YOU FORGETTING THE GOD THAT BROUGHT YOU OUT OF YOUR SITUATION.
Hosea 13:6 When I fed you, you were full. When you were full, you became arrogant. That is why you forgot me. This verse teaches that abundance can become a spiritual danger when it leads to pride and forgetfulness of God. Israel enjoyed God’s provision, became satisfied, then proud, and eventually abandoned the very One who blessed them. DON’T ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOU.
Ezekiel 23:35 “This is what the Almighty LORD says: You have forgotten me and turned your back on me. So, you will be punished for your sinning and prostitution.” DON’T CAUSE GOD TO PUNISH YOU.
THIS IS A VERY HARD, BUT MUCH NEEDED WORD FROM GOD.
LET US CHECK OURSELVES TO MAKE SURE WE ARE NOT STRAYING AWAY FROM GOD.
LET US ALLOW THIS WORD FROM GOD TO BE A GUIDE UNTO OUR LIFE.
