2 Thessalonians 3:13 Brothers and sisters, we can’t allow ourselves to get tired of doing what is right.
This verse is Paul’s call for believers to persevere in doing what is right, even when others around them are idle, discouraging, or not doing their part. It’s a command to keep going, keep serving, and keep obeying God without growing weary.
Paul is saying don’t let the bad example of others drain your motivation. Some in the church were lazy, disorderly, and taking advantage of others. Paul says: don’t let that make you quit doing what’s right.
Doing good requires endurance. “Doing good” here includes working diligently, living responsibly, helping others, and obeying Christ. Paul knows that doing good can be tiring—so he encourages perseverance.
Our obedience is not dependent on others. Even if others fall short, we stay faithful.

Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not be weary in well doing…”
1 Corinthians 15:58 — “Be steadfast… your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Hebrews 12:3 — Consider Christ so you don’t grow weary.
Isaiah 40:31 — Those who wait on the Lord renew their strength.
Psalm 37:3 — “Trust in the Lord and do good.”
How These verses apply to us today:
These verses speaks directly to moments when you feel like: “Why am I the only one trying?” “People don’t appreciate what I do.” “Others are slacking—why should I keep pushing?” “Doing the right thing feels tiring.”
We continue pushing on and refuse to quit because we’re doing it for the Lord, not for people.
DON’T ALLOW ANYONE TO CAUSE YOU TO QUIT ON GOD.
