ON GOD’S TIMING

ON GOD’S TIMING

Isaiah 60:22 GW The smallest of them will become a family. The weakest of them will become a mighty nation. At the right time I, the LORD, will make it happen quickly.”
Isaiah 60:22 (GW) is God’s promise that He can take what looks small, weak, insignificant, and transform it into something strong, numerous, and influential—and He will do it in His perfect timing, suddenly and unmistakably.
Meaning of the Verse
“The smallest of them will become a family.”
God is saying He can take a tiny remnant—just a few faithful people—and multiply them into a stable, growing, flourishing community. What looks too small to matter becomes something established and fruitful.
“The weakest of them will become a mighty nation.”
God specializes in turning weakness into strength. Israel, broken and scattered, will one day become powerful, secure, and influential—not because of their ability, but because of God’s intervention.
“At the right time I, the LORD, will make it happen quickly.”
God’s timing is perfect. When His moment arrives, what seemed slow, impossible, or delayed will suddenly accelerate. His work may feel slow for years, then in a moment everything shifts.
What this verse means to us:
Don’t despise small beginnings.
What looks insignificant today can become great under God’s hand.
Your weakness is not your future.
God can turn weakness into strength, fear into courage, and instability into influence.
Trust God’s timing.
Delays are not denials. When God’s “right time” arrives, change can be sudden.
Expect sudden breakthroughs.
God often works quietly for a long time, then visibly all at once.
If something in your life feels small, slow, or weak—your progress, your family, your ministry, your strength—this verse is God saying:
“I can grow it. I can strengthen it. I can accelerate it.
Trust My timing.”

TRUST GOD, HE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN ON HIS TIMING. ALL SHALL BE WELL.
