DO NOT FORGET THE LORD THY GOD: 1. “Forget not the Lord” DEUT 8:11 Be careful that you don’t forget the LORD your God. Don’t fail to obey his commands, rules, and laws that I’m giving you today. 2. “Forget not how thou provokest the Lord thy God”. DEUT 9:7 Never forget how you made the LORD your God angry in the desert. You’ve rebelled against the LORD from the day you left Egypt until you came here. Remember past sins and let them not be repeated. 3. “Forget not all His benefits”. His benefits are beneficial and manifold. PSALM 103:2-5 Praise the LORD, my soul, and never forget all the good he has done. He is the one who forgives all your sins, the one who heals all your diseases, the one who rescues your life from the pit, the one who crowns you with mercy and compassion, the one who fills your life with blessings so that you become young again like an eagle. 4. “Forgot not My Law” (Prov. 3:1). To forget God’s Word is to ignore our responsibilities and shut ourselves out of blessing. PROVERBS 1-2 My son, do not forget my teachings, and keep my commands in mind, because they will bring you long life, good years, and peace. 5. “Forget not” “to do good and communicate” (Heb. 13:16). To be a blessing to others is to bless ourselves. HEB. 13:16 16 Don’t forget to do good things for others and to share what you have with them.
