Psalm 103:8–14 The LORD is compassionate, merciful, patient, and always ready to forgive. He will not always accuse us of wrong or be angry ⸤with us⸥ forever. He has not treated us as we deserve for our sins or paid us back for our wrongs. As high as the heavens are above the earth— that is how vast his mercy is toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west— that is how far he has removed our rebellious acts from himself. As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD has compassion for those who fear him. He certainly knows what we are made of. He bears in mind that we are dust.
We are to walk: As children of light. Ephesians 5:8 Once you lived in the dark, but now the Lord has filled you with light. Live as children who have light. As Christ walked. 1 John 2:6 Those who say that they live in him must live the same way he lived. Cautiously. Ephesians 5:15 So then, be very careful how you live. Don’t live like foolish people but like wise people. By faith, not sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight. In the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 Let me explain further. Live your life as your spiritual nature directs you. Then you will never follow through on what your corrupt nature wants.
IF WE ARE A CHRISTIAN, OUR LIFE SHOULD REFLECT CHRIST. HOW ARE YOU LIVING, CHECK YOURSELF.
Romans 8:38–39 For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord! Where Is It? Paul was a passionate follower of Christ who encouraged and taught believers. He was a discipler and kept strong ties to many early churches in order to help foster them in the truth. His writings grew out of this missionary/pastoral work. He desired to share the truth with those that were being pulled away. In this chapter, Paul is focused on the new life that a believer has in Christ Jesus and the relation of the Holy Spirit to this new life. What Does It Mean? The tense that Paul uses indicates that it is a past action that has an ongoing impact. He was persuaded by God, and still has full assurance that what God told him is true. Paul is telling the church that once a person receives salvation from Christ there is nothing that can take that away from them. They do not need to fear, or hide their salvation, because there is nothing that can ever threaten it. Why Does It Matter? Have you ever thought you finally did the one thing that was bad enough that God will not forgive you? There is no such thing. There is nothing you can do; there is nothing someone else can do; there is nothing that the world, or the devil, or anything else in all of creation can do to separate you from the love that God has given you.

DECISIONS God will help you make good decisions if you are humble. Psalm 25:9, NKJV. “The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.” God uses the Bible to reveal what way to go. Psalm 119:105, NKJV. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” In order to make good decisions, you must be willing to look at both sides of an issue. Proverbs 18:17, TLB. “Any story sounds true until someone tells the other side and sets the record straight.” Prayer helps decision-making. Jesus used this method before choosing the disciples. Luke 6:12, NIV. “One of those days Jesus went out into the hills to pray, and spent the night praying to God.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES US ABOUT KEEPING OUR MOUTH SHUT.
Proverbs 21:23 “Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.” James 1:19 “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” Proverbs 10:19 Sin is unavoidable when there is much talk, but whoever seals his lips is wise. Proverbs 17:28 Even a stubborn fool is thought to be wise if he keeps silent. He is considered intelligent if he keeps his lips sealed. Proverbs 13:3 “The one who guards his mouth protects his life; the one who opens his lips invites his own ruin.” SOME PEOPLE TALK TOO MUCH, DON’T BE ONE OF THEM. Psalm 119:1–2 Blessed are those whose lives have integrity, those who follow the teachings of the LORD. Blessed are those who obey his written instructions. They wholeheartedly search for him. Luke 11:28 Jesus replied, “Rather, how blessed are those who hear and obey God’s word.” Proverbs 8:32 “Now, sons, listen to me. Blessed are those who follow my ways. Matthew 7:24–25 “Therefore, everyone who hears what I say and obeys it will be like a wise person who built a house on rock. Rain poured, and floods came. Winds blew and beat against that house. But it did not collapse, because its foundation was on rock. John 13:17 If you understand all of this, you are blessed whenever you follow my example.

The Bible frequently connects faith with healing, emphasizing that belief in God can lead to restoration and wholeness. James 5:15 “And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.” Matthew 9:22 “Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ he said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.” Mark 10:52 “And Jesus said to him, ‘Go; your faith has made you well.’ Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.” Matthew 15:28 “Then Jesus said to her, ‘O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish.’ And her daughter was healed at once.” Matthew 9:29 “Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘It shall be done to you according to your faith.’”
OBEY, TRUST, BELIEVE AND RECEIVE. IF YOU BELIEVE IT YOU CAN RECEIVE IT.
John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” 1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:20 Whoever says, “I love God,” but hates another believer is a liar. People who don’t love other believers, whom they have seen, can’t love God, whom they have not seen. Eph 4:31 Get rid of your bitterness, hot tempers, anger, loud quarreling, cursing, and hatred.
WE ARE COMMANDED TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, CHECK YOURSELF, STOP HATING PEOPLE. WE MUST LOVE EACH OTHER. GOD SAID HE MADE ALL OF US OUT OF THE SAME BLOOD. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT COLOR A PERSON’S SKIN IS, LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF A PERSON IS WEALTHY OR POOR LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER, AGAIN I SAY LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
Those who hold God’s word never need add something untrue in speaking to men. The sturdy truth of God touches every chord in every man’s heart. Psalm 119:41 Let your blessings reach me, O LORD. Save me as you promised. Then I will have an answer for the one who insults me since I trust your word. Do not take so much as a single word of truth from my mouth. My hope is based on your regulations. I will follow your teachings forever and ever. I will walk around freely because I sought out your guiding principles. I will speak about your written instructions in the presence of kings and not feel ashamed. Your commandments, which I love, make me happy. I lift my hands ⸤in prayer⸥ because of your commandments, which I love. I will reflect on your laws. Ephesians 6:14–17 So then, take your stand! Fasten truth around your waist like a belt. Put on God’s approval as your breastplate. Put on your shoes so that you are ready to spread the Good News that gives peace. In addition to all these, take the Christian faith as your shield. With it you can put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Also take salvation as your helmet and God’s word as the sword that the Spirit supplies. -Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” Proverbs 30:6 “Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” -Deuteronomy 12:32 “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.”
We celebrate Mother’s Day to honor our moms, who have given so much for their families. Proverbs 31:28-29 “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.'” 1 Samuel 1:27-28 “I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord.” Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” 3 John 1:4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” Proverbs 31:26 “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.” Psalm 139:13-14 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” We are to honor and praise the Lord for the women who have been such a blessing to us. Praise the Lord for their sacrifices that they made for us. Sometimes we have to even go to the Lord and confess of the way we neglected these women in our lives. There is nothing like a mama. Show your mother or the mother figure in your life how you much you care. Happy Mother’s Day!
MOTHER’S WE LOVE YOU AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! GOD I THANK YOU FOR THE MOM YOU GAVE ME.
