JOY

JOY

God teaches that joy is not an emotion we chase — it is a spiritual reality we receive from Him, rooted in His presence, His salvation, and His Word. Joy is strength, evidence of the Spirit, and a command that shapes how believers live.
Joy Comes Through Prayer. God teaches that asking and receiving produces joy.
John 16:24 (KJV) — Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. Prayer is a pipeline of joy.
Joy Comes From God Himself. Joy is not manufactured — it flows from God’s presence.
Psalm 16:11 You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever. Joy increases as fellowship with God increases.
Joy Is a Fruit of the Spirit. Joy is supernatural, produced by the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22 But the spiritual nature produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Where the Spirit is active, joy appears.
Joy Is Strength. God teaches that joy empowers believers to endure.
Nehemiah 8:10 Then he told them, “Go, eat rich foods, drink sweet drinks, and send portions to those who cannot provide for themselves. Today is a holy day for the Lord. Don’t be sad because the joy you have in the LORD is your strength.” Joy is spiritual stamina.
Joy Is Commanded. Joy is not optional — God instructs His people to rejoice.
Philippians 4:4 Always be joyful in the Lord! I’ll say it again: Be joyful! Joy is an act of obedience and trust.
Joy Is Strengthened Through Trials. God teaches us to see trials through the lens of faith.
James 1:2 My brothers and sisters, be very happy when you are tested in different ways. Joy is not denial — it’s confidence in God’s purpose.
Joy Comes Through the Word. Scripture feeds and fuels joy.
Jeremiah 15:16 Your words were found, and I devoured them. Your words are my joy and my heart’s delight, because I am called by your name, O LORD God of Armies. Joy grows where the Word is planted.
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS QUICK REFRESHER.
OH, JUST A LITTLE BIT EXTRA:
A. Joy is spiritual, not circumstantial
It does not depend on what happens to you but on what God is doing in you.
B. Joy is a weapon
It fights discouragement, heaviness, fear, and spiritual fatigue.
C. Joy is prophetic
It declares that God is faithful, present, and working even when circumstances look opposite.
D. Joy is a choice before it becomes a feeling
God commands joy because it aligns your heart with truth.

MAY GOD CONTINUE BLESSING YOU.
