TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THE WORD OF GOD

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THE WORD OF GOD

Deuteronomy 6:6–7 Take to heart these words that I give you today. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you’re at home or away, when you lie down or get up.
The passage teaches that God’s Word must be internalized personally (“take to heart”) and then passed on intentionally (“repeat them to your children”). It should shape everyday life—at home, on the road, morning, and night. In other words, Scripture isn’t a once‑a‑week activity; it’s a lifestyle.
God’s commands aren’t meant to sit on a page. They must be believed deeply, remembered continually, loved sincerely, and lived out consistently. Before you can teach anyone else, the Word must first live in you.
God’s Word must be in your heart, in your mouth, and in your home. It’s not just taught—it’s lived. Not just memorized—it’s modeled. Not just heard—it’s handed down.
When Scripture fills your heart, it naturally flows into your conversations, your decisions, your parenting, and your daily routines. A home shaped by God’s Word becomes a place where faith is caught as much as it is taught.

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS QUICK REFRESHER.
ALLOW THIS WORD FROM GOD TO BE A GUIDE UNTO YOUR LIFE.
