Galatians 6:7–9 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Paul begins with a warning: don’t fool yourself. People may deceive themselves or others, but no one deceives God. To “mock” God, means to treat His commands lightly, to assume consequences won’t come, to live as if God doesn’t see or care, Paul says plainly: God’s justice cannot be bypassed. “For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” — The law of sowing and reaping. Paul uses farming imagery to explain spiritual reality. Sowing = the choices, habits, attitudes, and actions you plant. Reaping = the results that grow from those choices. This is: Universal (applies to everyone). Inevitable (the harvest always comes). Proportional (you reap according to what you sow). You cannot plant weeds and expect wheat. “He that soweth to his flesh… corruption” — The flesh produces decay. “Sowing to the flesh” means: feeding sinful desires, living for self, choosing what is easy instead of what is right, and ignoring God’s Word. The harvest is corruption—ruin, decay, destruction, emptiness. Sin always promises pleasure but pays in pain. “He that soweth to the Spirit… life everlasting” — The Spirit produces life. “Sowing to the Spirit” means: obeying God’s Word, pursuing holiness, serving others, walking in the Spirit, and investing in eternal things. The harvest is life everlasting—not just future heaven, but present spiritual vitality, joy, peace, and fruitfulness. “Let us not be weary in well doing” — Don’t quit doing good. Doing good can be tiring: People may not appreciate it, results may seem slow, temptation may whisper “What’s the point?” Paul says: Don’t get tired of doing what is right. Why? “For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” — The harvest is guaranteed. There is a due season—God’s appointed time. You will reap: In God’s timing, in God’s way, and in God’s measure, but the condition is clear: if we do not faint—if we don’t give up. The enemy’s goal is to make you quit before the harvest comes. To become more like God, Scripture teaches a clear path: be transformed into His image through the Holy Spirit, put on the new self, imitate His character, and walk in love, holiness, and righteousness. Ephesians 4:24 — Put on the new self “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” This verse means embracing a transformed way of living that reflects true righteousness and holiness, not just outward change but and inner renewal produced by God. In short: Live as the new person God has made you to be, displaying His character in your daily life. 1 Peter 1:15 — “Be holy in all you do,” just as God is holy. This verse gives a simple but strong message. Believers are called to live holy lives because God Himself is holy. More specifically, the verse urges you to let every part of your conduct reflect God’s character-not just in worship, but in daily choices, attitudes, and behavior. In brief: Let your life mirror God’s holiness in everything you do. John 3:30 — “He must increase, but I must decrease.” This is a statement of humility and surrender. John the Baptist says that Jesus must become greater, and he himself must become less. In brief: Let Christ take center stage in your life-His glory increases as yourself importance decreases. Romans 12:2 (repeated emphasis) — Transformation comes through rejecting worldly patterns. This verse calls believers to stop being shaped by the world’s values and instead be transformed by the renewing work of God in their minds. The result of this renewal is the ability to discern and live out God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will. In brief: Don’t follow the world’s pattern-let God change how you think so you can live in His will. To become like God, you must walk in His love. John 15:12 — “Love each other as I have loved you.” This verse is very easy to understand. God makes it very clear that we are to love each other same as He loves us. Oh yes God teaches us how to become more like him. God says: Let the Holy Spirit transform you (2 Cor 3:18). Renew your mind daily (Rom 12:2). Put on the new self (Eph 4:24; Col 3:10). Walk in love (John 15:12; 1 John 4:19).

Isaiah 1:2–3 Listen, heaven, and pay attention, earth! The LORD has spoken, “I raised ⸤my⸥ children and helped them grow, but they have rebelled against me. Oxen know their owners, and donkeys know where their masters feed them. But Israel doesn’t know ⸤its owner⸥. My people don’t understand ⸤who feeds them⸥. In this passage of scripture God calls heaven and earth as witnesses to testify that His own covenant people—whom He lovingly raised—have become less responsive, less loyal, and less aware of Him than farm animals are to their owners. This passage of scripture still applies to us today. Oh yes, Isaiah’s message still speaks to us today. It continues to teach us that God is the One who raises, provides, protects, and sustains us. Yet people often enjoy His blessings while ignoring Him. Forgetting God leads to rebellion, confusion, and spiritual dullness. LET US NOT FORGET WHO GOD IS, LET US NOT FORGET WHO GOD IS TO US, AND LET US NOT FORGET THAT ALL GOOD IN OUR LIFE COMES FROM GOD. The issue isn’t that Israel didn’t know God intellectually. It’s that they didn’t acknowledge Him relationally. They lived as if He didn’t matter. That’s the rebellion. LET US NOT BE LIKE THEM, AMEN AND AMEN. LET US NOT FORGET GOD.
