“We fall down but we get up” means believers may stumble, fail, or struggle — but by God’s grace, we don’t stay down. God lifts us, restores us, and strengthens us to rise again. Falling is human; getting up is the work of God in us.
Proverbs 24:16 “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…”
Even righteous people fall — but they rise because God helps them.
Psalm 37:23–24 “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him…”
God holds you up even in your lowest moments.
2 Corinthians 4:8–9 “We are troubled… yet not distressed… cast down, but not destroyed.”
You may be knocked down, but never destroyed.
OH YES, WE ARE NOT PERFECT, LIFE IS NOT PREFECT. WE WILL MAKE MISTAKES, WE WILL FALL DOWN, BUT WE WILL NOT STAY DOWN, OUR GOD WILL HELP US UP.
When believers fall — whether through sin, weakness, discouragement, or failure — God does not abandon them. He convicts, forgives, lifts, and empowers them to stand again. Falling reveals our humanity; rising reveals God’s grace.
Even great men of God fell — but got up
David fell into sin → God restored him (Psalm 51).
Peter denied Jesus → Jesus lifted him and used him mightily (John 21:15–17).
Elijah fell into depression → God strengthened him (1 Kings 19).
Their stories prove: failure is not final when God is involved.
Falling is part of the journey — rising is part of God’s promise.
He lifts, restores, strengthens, and carries His people.

Riches Come From God:
Deuteronomy 8:18 — God gives the power to get wealth.
1 Chronicles 29:12 — Riches and honor come from God.
Proverbs 10:22 — The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow.
Riches Are Not Evil — But They Are Dangerous
1 Timothy 6:9–10 — Those who desire to be rich fall into temptation; the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
Matthew 6:24 — You cannot serve God and money.
Mark 4:19 — Riches choke the Word.
Mark 10:23–25 — It is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God.
Riches Can Create Pride and False Security:
Proverbs 11:28 — Whoever trusts in riches will fall.
Proverbs 18:11 — A rich man’s wealth is like a high wall in his imagination.
Psalm 49:6–7 — Those who trust in wealth cannot redeem themselves.

Riches Must Be Gained Honestly:

Riches Must Be Used Generously

Riches Are Temporary:

True Riches Are Spiritual:

Ephesians 1:7–18 — The riches of God’s grace and glory.
Colossians 2:2–3 — Christ is the treasure of wisdom and knowledge.
God Blesses Riches When the Heart Is Right:
Psalm 112:1–3 — Wealth and riches are in the house of the righteous.
Proverbs 3:9–10 — Honor God with your wealth and your barns will be filled.
Malachi 3:10 — God opens the windows of heaven for faithful givers.
2 Corinthians 9:6–11 — God enriches believers so they can be generous.
The Bible teaches that riches are a gift, a responsibility, and a danger — depending on the heart. God blesses wealth used for His purposes, but warns against trusting it, loving it, or gaining it dishonestly.

Hebrews 10:23 We must continue to hold firmly to our declaration of faith. The one who made the promise is faithful.
Meaning of the verse:
“Hold firmly” — Don’t loosen your grip on what you believe about Christ, even when life gets hard. Stay steady, confident, and committed.
“Our declaration of faith” — The confession that Jesus is Lord, Savior, and the One who gives us hope.
“The one who made the promise is faithful” — God never breaks His word. His character guarantees His promises.
In simple terms:
Keep holding on to your faith without wavering, because God is absolutely trustworthy and will do everything He said.

IF GOD SAID IT, WE CAN BELIEVE IT.
HOLD ON TO YOUR FAITH, OBEY, TRUST, BELIEVE, AND RECEIVE.

Galatians 6:7–9 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Paul begins with a warning: don’t fool yourself. People may deceive themselves or others, but no one deceives God. To “mock” God, means to treat His commands lightly, to assume consequences won’t come, to live as if God doesn’t see or care, Paul says plainly: God’s justice cannot be bypassed.
“For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” — The law of sowing and reaping.
Paul uses farming imagery to explain spiritual reality. Sowing = the choices, habits, attitudes, and actions you plant. Reaping = the results that grow from those choices.
This is: Universal (applies to everyone). Inevitable (the harvest always comes). Proportional (you reap according to what you sow). You cannot plant weeds and expect wheat.
“He that soweth to his flesh… corruption” — The flesh produces decay.
“Sowing to the flesh” means: feeding sinful desires, living for self, choosing what is easy instead of what is right, and ignoring God’s Word. The harvest is corruption—ruin, decay, destruction, emptiness. Sin always promises pleasure but pays in pain.
“He that soweth to the Spirit… life everlasting” — The Spirit produces life.
“Sowing to the Spirit” means: obeying God’s Word, pursuing holiness, serving others,
walking in the Spirit, and investing in eternal things.
The harvest is life everlasting—not just future heaven, but present spiritual vitality, joy, peace, and fruitfulness.
“Let us not be weary in well doing” — Don’t quit doing good.
Doing good can be tiring: People may not appreciate it, results may seem slow, temptation may whisper “What’s the point?” Paul says: Don’t get tired of doing what is right. Why?
“For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” — The harvest is guaranteed.
There is a due season—God’s appointed time.
You will reap: In God’s timing, in God’s way, and in God’s measure, but the condition is clear: if we do not faint—if we don’t give up. The enemy’s goal is to make you quit before the harvest comes.
A BRIEF SUMMARY:
God’s justice cannot be mocked
Your choices are seeds
Flesh produces destruction
Spirit produces eternal life
Don’t quit doing good
The harvest is guaranteed if you keep going.

HOW TO BECOME MORE LIKE GOD

To become more like God, Scripture teaches a clear path: be transformed into His image through the Holy Spirit, put on the new self, imitate His character, and walk in love, holiness, and righteousness.
Ephesians 4:24 — Put on the new self “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” This verse means embracing a transformed way of living that reflects true righteousness and holiness, not just outward change but and inner renewal produced by God.
In short: Live as the new person God has made you to be, displaying His character in your daily life.
1 Peter 1:15 — “Be holy in all you do,” just as God is holy. This verse gives a simple but strong message. Believers are called to live holy lives because God Himself is holy.
More specifically, the verse urges you to let every part of your conduct reflect God’s character-not just in worship, but in daily choices, attitudes, and behavior.
In brief: Let your life mirror God’s holiness in everything you do.
John 3:30 — “He must increase, but I must decrease.” This is a statement of humility and surrender. John the Baptist says that Jesus must become greater, and he himself must become less.
In brief: Let Christ take center stage in your life-His glory increases as yourself importance decreases.
Romans 12:2 (repeated emphasis) — Transformation comes through rejecting worldly patterns. This verse calls believers to stop being shaped by the world’s values and instead be transformed by the renewing work of God in their minds. The result of this renewal is the ability to discern and live out God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.
In brief: Don’t follow the world’s pattern-let God change how you think so you can live in His will.
To become like God, you must walk in His love.
John 15:12 — “Love each other as I have loved you.” This verse is very easy to understand. God makes it very clear that we are to love each other same as He loves us.
Oh yes God teaches us how to become more like him.
God says:
Let the Holy Spirit transform you (2 Cor 3:18).
Renew your mind daily (Rom 12:2).
Put on the new self (Eph 4:24; Col 3:10).
Walk in love (John 15:12; 1 John 4:19).
