What the Lord is to His people as the Strong One.
1. “A Strong Rock” for defence to save. Psalm 31:2-3 Turn your ear toward me. Rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me. Indeed, you are my rock and my fortress. For the sake of your name, lead me and guide me.
2. “A Strong Tower” to protect from “the enemy”. Psalm 61
You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy.3. “A Strong Habitation” to home for comfort and protection Psalm 71:3 Be a rock on which I may live, a place where I may always go. You gave the order to save me! Indeed, you are my rock and my fortress.
4. “A Strong Refuge” to preserve from all ills Psalm 71:7 I have become an example to many people, but you are my strong refuge.
5. “A Strong Lord” in the might of His ability to shield all about us Psalm 89:8 O LORD God of Armies, who is like you? Mighty LORD, even your faithfulness surrounds you.
6. “A Strong Tower” is found in the Name of Jehovah to meet every emergency Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower. A righteous person runs to it and is safe.
LET US NOT FORGET THAT OUR GOD IS STRONG, AND ALL MIGHTY.
