1 John 4:7–12 God Himself is the source and definition of love. We learn love from Him, and we demonstrate that we belong to Him when we love others. God showed His love by sending His Son. “God is love.”
Matthew 22:37–40 Jesus teaches that the entire Law and Prophets rest on two commands:
Love God with your whole being. Love your neighbor as yourself.
John 13:34–35 Jesus gives a new standard: love others as He loved us. This sacrificial, self-giving love is the mark of true discipleship. “Love each other as I have loved you.”
1 Corinthians 13:4–8 Paul describes love’s character: patient, kind, humble, forgiving, enduring, and truthful. Love never fails. “Love is patient. Love is kind.”
1 John 3:16–18 Love is not just emotion—it is action. We lay down our lives for others and meet their needs. “We must show love through actions.”
WHY DO YOU HATE, DISCRIMINATE, AND REFUSE TO HELP OTHERS.
LET US OBEY GOD AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
