The benefits of righteousness are permanent and far more delightful than sin. They prosper the body and soul. Righteousness adds well-being to a man’s city, and unlike wickedness is no trap to his brothers.
The imperative of righteousness raises it voice yet again:
lay hold of holiness and pursue righteousness for in so doing I am equipped to recognise sin, then turn my back to it and receive blessing.
