GOD OF ABUNDANCE PART 1
Ephesians 3:20-21
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21 tells us, God can do way more than we ask or even think of. His power works in us to bring about big things. This means He gives not just enough but an overflowing amount.
These words give hope and courage to those who believe. They show that with God’s strength inside us, we can see amazing blessings in our lives. It’s like having a never-ending source of good things because God is so generous!
Psalm 65:11
“You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.”
Psalm 65:11 shows us a picture of God’s generous heart. He fills our lives with good things, just like a farmer’s field bursting with crops. This verse says that even the hard paths will overflow with plenty.
It means no matter what, God gives more than we need.
God really knows how to give a great harvest! Everywhere you look – up in the mountains and down in the valleys – His goodness is there. Psalm 65:11 tells us that God wraps the year with beauty and rich blessings, filling your life with amazing treasures if you follow Him.
John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
In John 10:10, we learn about Jesus’ mission. He came so that we could have life—more than just breathing, but a full and meaningful one. This isn’t only about what happens when our time on earth ends; it’s starting right now, with Him by our side.
We get not just eternal life but also joy, peace, and everything our souls need.
This verse shows us the real face of abundance through Christ. It warns us: don’t get tricked thinking it’s all about getting stuff. True riches are found in spiritual growth and deep connection with God.
Live this way and you’ll find yourself overflowing with blessings you can’t even measure!

THE ABUNDANCE OF GOD PART 2
2 Peter 1:3
“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”
God’s divine power has given us everything we need to live a good and godly life. We find this out by getting to know Him, who calls us to His own glory and goodness. Through this knowledge, grace and peace are ours in plenty.
It’s like having the tools for building a strong faith—He’s already handed them over.
We’re called to use what we’ve been given with care and passion, growing qualities that reflect a life honoring God. This means showing love, self-control, patience.. the works! These aren’t just nice ideas; they’re expected of us as we journey in faith.
Romans 8:32
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
Romans 8:32 is like a big hug from God. It tells us that since He didn’t hold back even His own Son, we can trust Him to give us everything else we need. Think of it as God’s promise to look after our needs because He cares for us so much.
The verse means more than just food and clothes; it’s about all the help and blessings God gives. When we love Him, like the verse says, He works things out for us in amazing ways—ways that show off His generosity and love.
That’s what abundance in Christ is all about!
Philippians 4:19
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 is like a warm hug from God. It tells us that He’s got our backs, no matter what. God’s not just any provider; he’s the rich King of everything, and He cares about our needs.
Trusting Him can take a huge weight off our shoulders.
We might worry about money or stuff we need, but this verse is telling us to chill. Look at how it rolls—God will handle things in His super generous way because Jesus Christ has a huge treasure chest in heaven with everything we could ever ask for.
So, when times get tough, this promise is like a solid rock to stand on.
Colossians 2:9-10
“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”
In Christ, all the fullness of God lives in a human body. This means Jesus has the whole nature of God. Because we’re joined with Him, we are complete. He is the head over every power and authority.
By being with Christ, we have everything we need. Our lives are filled with His power and our union with Him gives us true life. Through Jesus, God shows us who he really is and how much He loves us.
We don’t need anything else to connect with God or to understand His plan for us.

3 John 1:2
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
3 John 1:2 is a Bible verse that brings hope. It tells us that God wants us to do well in life and be healthy just like our soul does well. This verse talks about being blessed not just with money but having a good life all around.
People use it to say that all great things come from God, including peace inside our hearts and strong bodies.
This message fits right into the idea of abundance, which is more than having lots of stuff; it’s about living fully and richly in every way. It’s like getting a high-five from above for all parts of your life — your mind, body, and spirit.
Proverbs 10:22
“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.”
Proverbs 10:22 tells us that the Lord’s blessing can bring wealth. This kind of wealth is special because it comes from living right, not by other means. It shows that true riches are about more than just money—they come from God’s goodness and lead to a life filled with joy, not trouble.
The wisdom we speak shows if we understand this truth. While this verse talks of abundance, it doesn’t promise everyone will get rich. Instead, it highlights how different ways of gaining wealth stack up—God’s way versus our own.
Psalm 1:1-3
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.”
Psalm 1:1-3 tells us about a happy person. This person doesn’t follow bad advice or stand around with sinners. Instead, they love the Lord’s teaching and think about it day and night.
They are like a tree by the water that grows strong. Its leaves stay green, and it always has fruit, even when things get hot. It’s not worried because its roots reach into the cool stream below.
Just like this tree, a good person has deep roots in God’s ways. They don’t get scared when trouble comes. Their life stays fresh and full, just like the green leaves on that tree by the river — always growing and succeeding in all they do.

THE BIBLE TEACHES US ABOUT FAITH
What is the meaning of faith? It’s in the Bible, Hebrews 11:1, TLB. “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.”
Jesus is the source of faith. It’s in the Bible, Luke 17:5, TLB. “One day the apostles said to the Lord, ‘We need more faith; tell us how to get it.'” Romans 10:17, NIV says, “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ.”
Real faith is believing in what Christ has done for us. It’s in the Bible, Romans 5:1, TLB. “So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with Him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.”
Faith is trusting God in everything. It’s in the Bible, Hebrews 10:38, TLB. “And those whose faith has made them good in God’s sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them.”
Weak faith can become strong faith with God’s help. It’s in the Bible, Mark 9:24, TLB. “The father instantly replied, ‘I do have faith; oh, help me to have more!'”
